How Do I Open an Existing Angular Project in SmartUX Studio?

Welcome to the guide on opening an existing Angular project in SmartUX Studio. Follow these instructions to easily access your project and start working on it.

Say, you already have an existing Angular project that was generated in Magic xpa Studio 4.9x.

The project was created at the following Project Location:

In order to open the project in Magic xpa 4.10, please make sure that the dependencies of the Angular project are compatible with Magic xpa 4.10 as following:

Once project is ready please open the project in Magic XPA Studio 4.10

From Magic xpa studio, Click on Open in SmartUX Studio icon.

A new browser window will open. In a while, SmartUX Studio opens the existing Angular project as shown.

Note that this time SmartUX Studio did not offer to choose a template.

After some time the ng serve operation is complete and Live Preview is available.

Click on Live Preview.

You can see the Live Preview of the application as shown below.
