Application Templates and Widgets

In this guide, you will explore the relationship between Application Templates and Widgets.

2. Properties

It contains a set of predefined properties. When you change the properties, the corresponding HTML block is modified.

An application template also comes with layouts and/or placeholder content. If these structures are not known to SmartUX Studio in form of a Widget, then you will not be able to easily manipulate or update the templates as desired.

The skeleton of application templates combined with Widgets creates an ecosystem, which allows you to select an individual Widget from a Component and manipulate it as desired.

If you want to create a new Application Template then you need to create a list of compatible Widgets.
