Lesson 3: Import and Set Up Members and Events programs inside Magic xpa

Welcome to Lesson 3 of our SmartUX Demo Application series. In this lesson, we will guide you through the process of Importing Members and Events programs in Magic xpa. It also shows configuring the imported programs Routes in Start Program to ensure a seamless user experience.

1. Import the Members and Events programs in Magic xpa

To continue with Setting Up Member and Events screens in SmartUX Studio, you need to import the MembersAndEvents.xml in Magic xpa.
You can download the Member and Events Programs export of the Magic xpa program to import at your end using the below link.

2. Ready to import file

To continue with import, ensure you have unzipped the downloaded file and have the MembersAndEvents.xml file ready.
This export file contains multiple programs for the Member and Events screen.
It also contains Batch programs to perform Create and Delete operations.
Import the MembersAndEvents.xml programs in a similar way as shown in Lesson 2.

3. The Program repository

After successful import, the Program Repository will look like this.

4. Configure Start Program

Now open the Start Program to configure Routes for the required Imported programs.

5. Adding Routes for the required Programs

As shown in the Screen, add the Call Program under the Route Event.
Added programs already have the Route names provided in their Task Properties.
You can also see the Route Name in the Properties of the Call Program.

6. Skip Arguments for Call Program

As you are done with adding the Call Program.
You need to skip the Arguments for those programs which has Parameters to avoid the warnings.
Refer to the screen to skip the Argument.

7. After Skip Arguments

After the Skip Arguments are performed, you will not observe any warning in the Start Program when you run the Checker or Press F8.
The Logic section Call Program will look like as shown on the screen below.
Now save the Start Program to save the performed changes.
