Lesson 1: Create a new project

Welcome to Lesson 1 of our SmartUX Demo Application series. Certainly! Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started with Magic xpa and SmartUX Studio.

To continue with the Initial steps of creating the SmartUX Demo Application let’s start with a fresh project.

Please perform the steps mentioned.

Create an Empty Project in Magic xpa for the SmartUX Demo Application

1. Launch Magic xpa Studio: Start Magic xpa Studio on your Windows machine.
2. Create New Project: Go to the ‘File’ menu and select ‘New Project’.
3. Name Your Project: Enter a name for your project, such as ‘SmartUXDemo’.
4. Set Project Location: Choose a directory where your project will be stored.
5. Configure the Main Program: Confirm the creation of the new project. Set the Main Program properties Run Project As to Web Client and Open Task Window property to No. Save the Main Program changes.

SmartUX Studio

1. Open SmartUX Studio: Start SmartUX Studio from Magic xpa Studio on your Windows machine.
2. Select Template: Select the Full Menu Template for the Demo Application
3. Overwrite Main Program: A pop-up will appear in Magic xpa studio to overwrite the Main Program.
4. Enter in Live Preview: Enter in Live Preview to see the Full Menu Application Template.
